No one fits with everyone and sales trainers are the same!

And that’s OK.

You know the scenario – you’ve taken on a client because you need the money. You had that gut feeling they weren’t a good fit, but you did it anyway.

And you regretted it!

“Marry in haste, regret at leisure” as my granny used to say.

It’s the same professionally. If you know who you DON’T want to work with, then it makes things a lot easier.

For example, I don’t want to provide sales training for people who:

🚫 are disrespectful and manipulative with customers and prospects
🚫 misrepresent what they can do for customers (basically, liars)
🚫 won’t take responsibility for their own actions
🚫 who blame their leads, their colleagues, the weather, their cat for their poor performance
🚫 who refuse to reflect on their own behaviour
🚫 who want the world, but aren’t prepared to put in any effort

Why?

Apart from not fitting my my morale compass, the chances are I can’t help them. So we are wasting everyone’s time and money.

It helps to know!

What are your non-negotiables?
